blog. Very powerful stuff about the situation in Iraq, the Newsweek mess, the torture...
The opening paragraphs are clever, but the final paragraph is chilling:
By doing such things, this war is taken to another level- it is no longer a war against terror or terrorists- it is, quite simply, a war against Islam and even secular Muslims are being forced to take sides.
Two items of good news today:
1. Microsoft has reversed its reverse of its position on the Washington State gay-rights bill. Steve Balmer now says they will back it
2. In a unanimous decision, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals tossed out the broadcast flag, the FCC rule that would have crippled digital television receivers starting July 1. Thanks EFF.
